Old Man’s Cave

December 1st, 2011

We spent a beautiful weekend in Hocking Hills for 11.11.11.  It was Becca’s birthday and we figured hot tubbing and hiking was probably the way to do it.  It was the last great weather weekend and the cave system was beautiful. We will miss you Fall.

A photo from the Fall

December 1st, 2011

Just found this photo in my fall archives and thought it was kind of beautiful.  It’s a macro shot of a pumpkin from the children’s carving contest in Perrysburg.

Newark Fencing Club…with no 6 fingered man.

August 30th, 2011

A couple of weeks ago, my Dad and a couple of his fellow club members came up for a fencing tournament in Bowling Green, Ohio.  The meet had several kind of fencing categories, but my Dad, Aurora and Steve participated in the foil events. Aren’t my Mom and Dad cute? The meet lasted most [...]

Welcome to the world Maggie!  This beautiful little one is the newest addition to my favorite little family.  Congrats Matt, Hillary, Paige and Colleen Harper!  Maggie has possibly the cutest little cowlick ever….

A weekend away.

July 31st, 2011

At the beginning of June, Geoff and I were able to escape Toledo for a couple of days.  We headed up to his family’s cottage in Lewiston, Michigan.  I love going to the cottage for many reasons….one of them is the pontoon boat. Every morning we got up and had coffee on the dock.  I [...]

A Harper style Memorial Day

July 27th, 2011

Continuing with my Spring-post-catch up, I have gotten to spend a bit of time with my beautiful nieces Paige and Colleen.  I was able to go back to Newark this Memorial day to see my brother who was on leave from the Marine Corps, and the Harper crew (pre-Maggie’s birth) was able to come visit. [...]

hunting: easter eggs and clay pidgeons

July 19th, 2011

This past Easter we went down to the Geib’s alpaca stronghold, Stargazer Farm.  Crevan loves getting to go and hang out with all the alpacas. Some of the candy went over better than others….. The kids did the annual Easter egg hunt, then after a great meal came the shooting.  All the Geib’s and Geoff [...]

a playmate for the cats

July 18th, 2011

This past February, my roommates Becca and Seth adopted a puppy.  His name is Crevan and he is (to our best guess) an Australian Shepherd/Beagle mix.  We added him to our motley crew of 3 cats and 2 guinea pigs.  As much as we love him, potty training during the coldest month of the year [...]

So the website is back up and running!  Yay!  Over the past 6 months I have taken a ton of pictures for on here, but have been lazy when it came to getting the bugs worked out.  Now thanks to Seth, I can finally be back in the photo world. I decided to just start [...]
